Be on alert for a new cough that lingers. He or she will listen to your lungs and may order an X-ray or other tests.

CHANGE IN A COUGH:

Pay attention to any changes in a chronic cough, particularly if you are a smoker. If you are coughing more often, your cough has a deeper or hoarse sound, or you are coughing up blood or more mucus than usual, it’s time to make a doctor’s appointment. If a family member or friend experiences these changes, suggest that they visit their doctor

BREATHING CHANGES:

Shortness of breath or becoming easily winded are also possible symptoms of lung cancer. This symptom can occur if lung cancer blocks or narrows an airway, or if fluid from a lung tumor builds up in the chest. Make a point of noticing when you feel winded or short of breath. If this symptom occurs after climbing the stairs to your house, bringing in groceries, or performing another task you could previously do without finding it hard to breathe, don’t ignore it.

PAIN IN THE CHEST AREA:

Lung cancer may produce pain in the chest, shoulder, or back area. This aching feeling may not be associated with coughing. Tell your doctor if you notice any type of chest pain, whether it is sharp, dull, constant, or comes and goes. You should also note whether it is confined to a specific area or is occurring throughout your chest. When lung cancer causes chest pain, the discomfort may result from enlarged lymph nodes or metastasis to the chest wall, pleura (lining around the lungs), or the ribs.

WHEEZING:

When airways become constricted, blocked, or inflamed, the lungs produce a wheezing or whistling sound when you breathe. Wheezing can be associated with multiple causes, some of which are benign and easily treatable. However, wheezing is also a lung cancer symptom, which is why it merits your doctor’s attention. If wheezing continues, don’t assume it’s asthma or allergies. Have your doctor confirm what’s causing it.

RASPY,HOARSE VOICE:

If you hear a significant change in your voice, or if someone else points out that your voice sounds deeper, hoarse, or raspier, get checked out by your doctor. Hoarseness can be caused by a simple cold, but this symptom becomes worrisome when it hangs on for more than two weeks. Hoarseness related to lung cancer can occur when the tumor affects the nerve that controls the larynx, or voice box.

DROP IN WEIGHT:

An unexplained weight loss of 10 pounds or more may be associated with lung cancer or another type of cancer. When cancer is present, this weight drop may result from cancer cells using energy in the body. It could also result from shifts in the way the body uses food energy. Don’t write off a change in your weight if you haven’t been trying to shed pounds—it may be a clue to a change in your health.

BONE PAIN:

Lung cancer that has spread to the bones may produce pain in the back or in other areas of the body. This pain may worsen at night while resting on the back. Additionally, lung cancer is sometimes associated with shoulder, arm, or neck pain, although this is less common. Be attentive to your aches and pains, and discuss them with your doctor.

HEADACHE:

Headaches may be a sign that lung cancer has spread to the brain. However, not all headaches in people with lung cancer are associated with brain metastases. Sometimes, a lung tumor may create pressure on the superior vena cava, which is the large vein that moves blood from the upper body to the heart. This pressure can also trigger headaches.

  • DAY 2- Start your day with green tea and have 3 egg whites(intake of water should be more ,whole day) after you are done with your breakfast have grapes very frequently.have spinach salad and oats for lunch and have only fruits for dinner.End up your day with lemon juice and there should be water intake of 6-8 glasses per day.

  • DAY 3- Start your day with green tea and have brown bread for breakfast,it is best preferable. take oat biscuits and watermelon for snacks(if you feel hungry), have lemon juice at afternoon and grapes or watermelon for lunch(have oat biscuits for snacks in between lunch and dinner brake). At night ,  end up with SPINACH salad and RAGI MALT.

  • DAY 4- After day 3 you will  feel  great change in your body. You will  feel that you are loosing weight but do not stop the diet you are in(and hey drink lots of water). On day 4 take a cup of green tea and oats upma(oats) for breakfast. take orange juice and more of oranges for  taking care of your hunger feeling. Have vegetable salad(with tomato,beetroot,carrot etc) for lunch , have only grapes. Take fruit juices and more water,at night for dinner have plain roti and ginger pickle- eat a banana if only you are hungry.


  • DAY 5- Routinely have green tea and ragi malt for breakfast, now for day 5 take plenty of watermelon and muskmelon (they are preferable for whole day 5 it is upto you).Have roti with dal for lunch and is advisable to take plenty of water  these days. End up with lemon juice and brown bread at night.
  • DAY 6-Have green tea it is must every day and take a vegetable salad inside a wheat bread for breakfast. Eat plenty of fruit juices and drink plenty of water. This is a crucial day you have to take more water and fruits- have a look on your body, is it going well and accepting this diet?. DAY 7- Green tea to start your day. 1) Juicer- If you have a juicer; this is the easiest way to make onion juice. Just peel the onion, cut it in half and put it in the juicer.

2) Blender/Food Processor- Peel the onion and cut it into about 4 sections, then put them into your blender or food processor and start blending. Lastly, strain the mixture so that only the juice is remaining.

3) Grater – Peel the onion and cut it in half. Grate both halves of the onion over a dish and then strain the mixture to get just the juice.
How to Use Onion Juice for Hair

For the first application of onion juice, you may want to test it on a small area (in case you may be allergic to it) or water down the mixture. Even though it’s natural, pure onion juice is strong.

What is Angina Pectoris?

Angina pectoris is the medical term for chest pain or the feeling of pressure in the chest that occurs when the heart muscle does not receive sufficient blood and oxygen supply. When the arteries supplying blood and oxygen to the heart are blocked, the blood flow to the heart muscle is obstructed and chest pain results.

Angina pectoris may also be felt in the neck, back, shoulders, arms or jaw and sometimes can be confused with the pain of indigestion. It is more common in men than women and generally affects people over the age of 50, although it can also occur in younger people.

Three Main Types of Angina Pectoris

Stable Angina

The most common type of angina is stable angina, and this occurs when the heart is working harder than usual. It tends to occur after physical exertion, under emotional stress, or during excited. It is a result of a fixed obstruction of blood flow to the heart. At rest, there is sufficient blood and oxygen supply to the heart and no pain is felt. However, under conditions of exertion or strain there is insufficient oxygen delivered to the heart muscle and the pain of angina is felt. Stable angina is not a heart attack but can indicate the possibility of a heart attack occurring in the future.

Unstable Angina

Unstable angina is more serious and can quickly progress to a heart attack. It can occur at times of rest, such as during sleep, or it may occur during physical exertion. Unstable angina occurs as a result of a sudden interruption of blood flow to the heart, and is caused by a partial or complete blockage of the artery. A person who has never experienced angina before may suddenly develop moderate or severe symptoms of discomfort. Usually, these attacks will become more frequent and intensify over time unless the blockage is corrected.

Variant Angina

Variant angina is rare and usually occurs when the person is at rest. The pain experienced is severe and often occurs between midnight and early morning.


How is Angina Pectoris diagnosed?
The diagnosis of angina pectoris is based upon the person’s symptoms, medical history, as well as a physical examination. A doctor’s examination will help to rule out whether the chest pain could be caused by anything else such as indigestion or physical injury. If angina is suspected, your doctor will carry out other tests and investigations to confirm the diagnosis of angina and to establish the underlying cause.

All breast milk contains DHA, but levels of this essential nutrient are higher in the milk of women who get more DHA from their diets.

The DHA in salmon may also help your mood. Studies suggest it may play a role in preventing postpartum depression.

One caution: The FDA recommends that breastfeeding women, women who are pregnant, and women who might get pregnant limit to how much salmon they eat. The guidelines recommend an average of 12 oz, or the equivalent of two main servings, per week. The reason is to limit the amount mercury your new child is exposed to.

The mercury level in salmon is considered low. Some other fish, such as swordfish or mackerel, have a high content of mercury and should be avoided altogether. The 12 ounces are an average. Eating more in one week – such as having three servings instead of two -- won't hurt as long as you eat less the following week.

Whether you prefer yogurt, milk, or cheese, dairy products are an important part of healthy breastfeeding. Sitting requires your glutes to do absolutely nothing, and they get used to it. Soft glutes hurt your stability, your ability to push off and your ability to maintain a powerful stride.

3- Leg disorders:
--> POOR CIRCULATION IN LEGS:
Sitting for long periods of time slows blood circulation, which causes fluid to pool in the legs. Problems range from swollen ankles and varicose veins to dangerous blood clots called deep vein thrombosis (DVT).

--> SOFT BONES:
Weight-bearing activities such as walking and running stimulate hip and lower-body bones to grow thicker, denser and stronger. Scientists partially attribute the recent surge in cases of osteoporosis to lack of activity.

4- Trouble at the top:
--> FOGGY BRAIN:
Moving muscles pump fresh blood and oxygen through the brain and trigger the release of all sorts of brain- and mood-enhancing chemicals. When we are sedentary for a long time, everything slows, including brain function.

--> STRAINED NECK:
If most of your sitting occurs at a desk at work, craning your neck forward toward a keyboard or tilting your head to cradle a phone while typing can strain the cervical vertebrae and lead to permanent imbalances.

--> SORE SHOULDERS AND BACK:
The neck doesn't slouch alone. Slumping forward overextends the shoulder and back muscles as well, particularly the trapezius, which connects the neck and shoulders.

5- Bad back:
--> INFLEXIBLE SPINE:
When we move around, soft discs between vertebrae expand and contract like sponges, soaking up fresh blood and nutrients. But when we sit for a long time, discs are squashed unevenly. Collagen hardens around supporting tendons and ligaments.

--> DISK DAMAGE:
People who sit more are at greater risk for herniated lumbar disks. A muscle called the psoas travels through the abdominal cavity and, when it tightens, pulls the upper lumbar spine forward. Upper-body weight rests entirely on the ischial tuberosity (sitting bones) instead of being distributed along the arch of the spine.

** The right way to sit:
If you have to sit often, try to do it correctly. As Mom always said, "Sit up straight."

• Not leaning forward

• Shoulders relaxed

• Arms close to sides

• Elbows bent 90°

• Lower back may
be supported

• Feet flat on floor
